good luck

I hear getting pooped on by a bird is good luck. any one have any idea what that is based on? I just got pooped on so I was curious!?@!

Armena and I were walking in Venice Beach and a birdie pooped on her. I have pictures. I thought it was hysterical. her? not so much.
