the weekend

so this weekend i used a certificate i had for 2 nights at any ritz carlton in the world. yes, i know this sounds like such a perfect gift, but it's not. we got it as a christmas present from my job last year. however, the certificates are nearly impossible to use due to endless restrictions and fine print. one guy i work with told me to just burn it becuaes it's useless. you have to send it in wait 2 weeks, then 60 days from that point after it's been processed can you use it, but in only can be used from like may to november, when most tv writers are working and therefore can't go to Dubai for a week. so i picked the ritz at half moon bay, just south of san fran. now when i got the certificate for 2 nights, i had a boyfriend, alas, i no lnoger do, so i brought my friend bernsie along and it was fun. look how beautiful this is! we walked along the edge and went to the spa and sat in the sauna and the hot tub and steam room and drank wine watching the waves crashing and saw a movie and played tennis. a lot to accomplish in just 2 days. but it was very relaxing!!
