where to begin..

i worked the red carpet at the emmy's yesterfday it was so fucking hot, really you have no idea how hot, think surface of the sun hot! i hate the sun so this was a definate problemt for me, but i lathered up the sunblock and was fine. Everyone on the red carpet has to be in formal attire, so i was in a fancy dress my friend lent me. she went to the emmy's last year. the red carpet was whatever, but the big news of the night was MEETING HUGH LAURIE!! We all know i love him, so i'm at the TV guide party and he walks into the outdoor smoking area, i wasn't smoking, but was hanging out there becaseu it was so crowded inside, but it turned out to be THE place. Debra messing and her hubby were out there, as was the ENTIRE cast of grey's anatomy, minus mcdreamy, but justin chambers who plays alex on GA was there and TOTALLY WASTED!! he was dancing around with is tie off and around his neck and his sunglasses on and was a total mess, it was hilarious, him and his wife were at the table next to ours. The cast of house came and kicked us out of our table but then decided to go somewhere else and let us have our table back, hugh wasn't with them, he was with his wife and they were having a smoke and a drinky by the bar. so he walks in, i freak out, my friend suzy is like just go talk to him, i couldn't do that, so she marched right up to him and introduced me and i almost passed out. then his band,i think they're called band from tv or something, played. they're a cover band with greg grunberg, my boy hugh, james denton from des. housewives, and bob guinney who was the bachelor and an all around geek. the guys from the band seem to hero worship hugh, it's pretty funny. I'm not sure if Greg grunberg is in love with him, but he might be.
